The Arc Baltimore Honors Tiana Wynn for Volunteer Service

Tiana D. Wynn, a Partner at SB & Company, LLC – one of the country’s largest minority public accounting firms – is the winner of The Arc Baltimore’s annual Volunteer Service Award.

Presented during The Arc’s recent Catalyst for Change Awards Ceremony, the Volunteer Service Award is presented to an individual or group demonstrating commitment to The Arc Baltimore’s mission by providing voluntary support to the organization and those people with developmental disabilities whom it supports.

“Tiana joined The Arc Baltimore’s Board of Directors in 2019 and quickly distinguished herself through her willingness to contribute beyond her financial expertise,” explains Kathleen McNally Durkin, The Arc Baltimore’s Chief Executive Officer. After initially serving on and then chairing the Board’s Development & Marketing Committee, Wynn joined the Board’s Finance Committee in 2022 and was named Board Secretary.

“Tiana stepped forward without hesitation when leadership transitions occurred,” Durkin continues. “She served as Vice President in 2023 and then as Board President in 2024. In this role, she has provided steady leadership and a strong partnership with the executive team.”

Wynn’s commitment extends into action. She generously hosted The Arc Baltimore Board’s first in-person retreat after the pandemic at her company, SB & Company, and made its conference space available for The Arc’s Career Catalyst program, supporting workforce development for individuals served. During The Arc’s 75th Anniversary year in 2025, she served on the Carats & Cocktails planning committee, helping ensure a successful milestone celebration.

“Tiana leads with professionalism, humility, and deep commitment to the mission, strengthening the organization’s future,” notes Durkin.

Professionally, Wynn has a breadth of experience in the accounting industry, with a specific focus on external and internal audit, employee benefits design, and the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. She received her MBA in Organizational Leadership, Management, and Related Support Services from Loyola College in Maryland.

Through its Catalyst for Change Awards program, The Arc Baltimore recognizes those individuals who have gone that extra mile in their commitment and service to the organization and those people with developmental disabilities who are recipients of The Arc’s programs and services.

The awards ceremony was preceded by The Arc Baltimore’s Annual Meeting, which included election of Board officers and directors.
