The Arc Baltimore Will Hold Catalyst for Change Awards

The Arc Baltimore’s second annual Catalyst for Change Awards will take place on Wednesday, May 6, 6:30-8:30 p.m., at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Baltimore North, 1726 Reisterstown Road, Pikesville, MD.

The Arc Baltimore’s Catalyst for Change Awards recognize staff members, community partners, and volunteers who have gone that extra mile in their commitment and service to the organization, as well as people with developmental disabilities who are recipients of The Arc’s programs and services.

“We are fortunate to work alongside so many extraordinary individuals who consistently go above and beyond to advance The Arc’s mission,” says Kathleen McNally Durkin, the organization’s Chief Executive Officer. “Through their leadership, compassion, advocacy, and innovation, they create meaningful change every day and help build a more inclusive community. Their efforts deserve to be celebrated.”

Since 1949, The Arc Baltimore has supported people with developmental disabilities to lead fulfilling lives with a sense of belonging, purpose, and meaningful relationships. The Arc’s vision is a world where all people are valued, their voices are heard, and their impact is felt. With more than 700 full- and part-time employees, The Arc Baltimore provides employment training and support, day and residential services, family support and education, treatment foster care, assistive technology services, respite care, and public policy advocacy.
