Baltimore County Public Schools Make Weather Decision

Public schools in Baltimore County will be delayed two hours on Thursday, Jan. 8, according to Baltimore County Public Schools.

Morning prekindergarten has been canceled.

The National Weather Service has issued a wind chill advisory until 8 a.m. Thursday, stating that strong winds and cold temperatures could put people at risk of hypothermia and frostbite. People who must go outside should be equipped with gloves and hats.

Anne Arundel, Carroll, Cecil. Harford, Howard and Prince George’s county schools were delayed two hours on Thursday. For more school closings, see WJZ’s school closing page.
