In her interview with WBAL, Frederick credited her faith with helping her through the virus. She is reportedly set to return to the hospital to see whether she has antibodies that she can give to others to help them recover from the illness.

State health officials say more than 19,000 Marylanders have tested positive for the virus, including 2,500 in Baltimore County, as of Monday, April 27.

Baltimore County ranks third for number of cases among Maryland jurisdictions, with Prince George's and Montgomery counties first and second, respectively.
