BREAKING: Crash on I-83 Snarls Traffic Near Timonium Road

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — A two-vehicle crash on Interstate 83 is snarling traffic during the afternoon rush hour in Baltimore County, according to transportation officials.

The collision occurred at 3:43 p.m. on I-83 north in the area of Timonium Road, officials said.

Initially, lane closures affected both north and southbound traffic. By 4:15 p.m., all southbound lanes were clear.

Two lanes and the left shoulder remained closed on I-83 north in the area of the crash, according to officials.

Traffic was "very heavy" between I-695 and I-83, according to WBAL Radio, which reported at least one person was injured in the crash.
