• Baltimore County Council To Vote On Extending Data Center Moratorium (patch.com) — Towson residents will see the Baltimore County Council vote Tuesday evening on whether to extend a moratorium on new data centers while officials craft regulations. The proposed extension, lasting through 2027, follows a Planning Board report with 20 amendments focused on environmental and infrastructure impacts.
   

• Baltimore band turns Edgar Allan Poe's gloom into foot-tapping bluegrass (foxbaltimore.com) — A Towson resident, banjo player Tony Bonta, leads Edgar Allan and The Poe Boys, a Baltimore bluegrass band that turns Edgar Allan Poe's famously gloomy poems into upbeat, toe-tapping songs. Formed in 2017, the group blends classic folk-bluegrass influences with playful literary nods, including a lively version of "The Raven" called "Nevermore" that you can stream on YouTube.
   

• $540K Multi-Match jackpot hits at Towson Shell during big Maryland Lottery week (shorenewsnetwork.com) — A $540,000 Maryland Lottery Multi-Match jackpot ticket was sold at the Towson Shell on York Road, and the winner still hasn't come forward. The prize can be taken as a long-term annuity or a lump sum, and must be claimed within 182 days. The win capped a big week of lottery payouts across Maryland.
