Former Ravens Cheerleader Sentenced for Raping Teen Boy: Report
Molly Shattuck will reportedly serve her sentence over a two-year period.

The former Ravens cheerleader who admitted to sex acts with a teen boy has reportedly been sentenced to 48 weekends in a correctional facility.
“I’m sorry,” Molly Shattuck, 48, of north Baltimore’s posh Roland Park neighborhood, said in a Delaware courtroom Friday morning.
“I will spend the rest of my life making this right,” she added between what The News-Journal described as “heaving sobs.”

Shattuck, who was at one time the oldest cheerleader in the NFL, pleaded guilty to fourth-degree rape in June. The charge stemmed from a sexual encounter with a 15-year-old last summer.
The victim told authorities he was “involved in an inappropriate relationship” with Shattuck that culminated during Labor Day weekend at a rental house in Bethany Beach, Del., according to Delaware State Police.

Shattuck allegedly performed oral sex on the teen, who was a classmate of her son at the McDonogh School in Owings Mills and was part of a group staying at the home, where she propositioned him for sex; the teen declined, according to police.
The victim was not at the Sussex County courthouse for the sentencing on Friday, but his family appeared on his behalf to deliver a statement about the impact the crime had upon him, WBAL reported.
The victim’s father said Shattuck “groomed our son over a four-month period as a predator would do,” according to WJZ.
Shattuck initially set her eyes on the boy on Instagram, and her son, or someone using her son’s account, messaged the victim with her phone number, stating: “You should text my mom, she is obsessed with you,” according to court records obtained by People.
The judge sentenced Shattuck to 15 years—the maximum allowed—with all but two years suspended, according to USA Today.
She will serve every other weekend in a Delaware correctional facility for 48 weekends; pay $10,650 in restitution to the victim’s family; and attend therapy, WJZ reported.
Her sentence will reportedly begin in September. She must also register as a sex offender in Delaware and Maryland.
As part of her sentence, Shattuck may not have contact with anyone under the age of 18, except for her three children.
