HQ For Upscale Clothing Company Coming To Baltimore County
An upscale clothier is locating in Baltimore County from out of state.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD โ A high-quality menswear company is moving its headquarters to Baltimore County. State and local officials celebrated the move as a win for the state of Maryland and Baltimore County.
Paul Fredrick, an online-based menswear company that has its corporate office in Pennsylvania, will move to Baltimore County before the end of 2018, according to a statement from government officials.
"Paul Fredrickโs decision to move its headquarters from Pennsylvania to Baltimore County shows confidence in our business community and the pipeline of exceptional talent our colleges and universities provide the companies doing business here,โ Baltimore County Executive Don Mohler said in a statement.

Paul Frederick started out as a men's dress shirt company in 1986. Since then, it has expanded its offerings to include suits, sport coats, ties, coats, cuff links and other accessories.
Until now, the business has sold all of its merchandise through its catalog and website. When it moves to Maryland, the company may add retail to its repertoire. It will also bring with it 70 marketing, merchandising and high-level executive jobs.

โThese 70 high-level executive, merchandising and marketing positions are the types of jobs that keep our vibrant economy moving forward," Mohler said.
Maryland Department of Commerce and Baltimore County officials are coordinating with Paul Fredrick on the relocation plans.
"Our administration is excited that an innovative, growing company like Paul Fredrick has chosen to relocate their headquarters to Baltimore County, add 70 new jobs and potentially develop retail locations," Gov. Larry Hogan said in a statement.
โWeโre thrilled to welcome Paul Fredrick to Maryland and look forward to helping the company grow its footprint in the region,โ Maryland Commerce Secretary Mike Gill added. "This is a testament to not only our business friendly climate, but also speaks to the strategic advantages, like our workforce, transportation infrastructure, and centralized location, that give companies in Maryland a competitive edge.โ
Run by former Jos. A. Bank executives, Paul Frederick plans to lease up to 10,000 square feet of space in Baltimore County. It was not disclosed in what part of the county the company plans to plant its roots.
โWe are pleased to be moving our office to Baltimore County,โ Paul Frederick CEO R. Neal Black said in a statement. "Our team is looking forward to being in the greater Baltimore area, which has a long history in the apparel manufacturing business, and where we have the ability to hire from the areaโs rich talent pool and terrific local colleges and universities."
