I-83 Crash Clears at Ruxton Road

A crash on Interstate 83 closed the expressway to southbound travelers Tuesday morning.

The three-vehicle crash occurred past the Ruxton Road exit on I-83 south before 7:15 a.m., according to the Coordinated Highways Action Response Team (CHART).

All southbound lanes were closed from the crash, which involved an overturned vehicle, and backups stretched toward I-695, WBAL reported.

By 8:15 a.m., the crash had cleared, according to state transportation officials, who said at least one person was injured.
