Liquor Thief On The Loose: Towson Police Blotter
The Loch Raven Rec Center was burglarized and so were some residences this week in Towson, according to police.

TOWSON, MD — In less than 24 hours, police said two residences in Towson were burglarized recently. In both cases, the burglary involved taking alcohol.
Also in the past two weeks, police from the Towson Precinct reported a rec center was burglarized and a person was robbed on the street.

Police said the Loch Raven Recreation Center was burglarized over the weekend. After getting in to the building in the 1800 block of Glen Keith Boulevard, officials said the burglar(s) damaged an interior door. The burglary happened between 1 p.m. Friday and 8:30 a.m. Monday.
Bottles of alcohol and cash were stolen from a residence in the 1000 block of Donington Circle. The burglary occurred between 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on Thursday.

A bottle of liquor and jewelry were stolen from the 1000 block of Donington Circle between 5:45 and 11:45 p.m. on Wednesday, July 1.
A person sitting on a bench in the 1200 block of Putty Hill Avenue was assaulted and robbed before 7:15 pm. on Monday, June 29. Police said two people approached the man, assaulted him, took his cell phone and ran away.
Crime trend: Police said that three commercial burglaries appear to be related in the Towson and Wilkens precincts. The crimes occurred during the overnight hours from June 9 to June 24.
