Michael Phelps Sweeps Up 21st Gold Medal
The most decorated Olympian of all time won two more gold medals Tuesday to add to his collection.

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL — Towson native Michael Phelps scooped up his 20th and 21st gold medals Tuesday after competing in two events at the 2016 Olympic games.
"He continues to amaze us," NBC announcer Dan Hicks said. "We should all savor this, because we're never going to see anything else like it..."
That was after Phelps won the 200-meter butterfly with a time of 1:53.36.

His eyes glassed over, and he held his 20th Olympic gold medal against his face before heading for his family in the stands. "One more," his mother Debbie Phelps said. "Make it happen."
And he did. Michael Phelps helped bring home another gold for Team USA as the final swimmer in the men's 4x200 meter freestyle relay, after Conor Dwyer, Townley Haas and Ryan Lochte.

Despite his swim cap breaking right before his turn to jump into the relay, Phelps did not miss a beat, accepting the cap from his teammate Dwyer.
Another twist came when Phelps said his "boys from Baltimore" put the emphasis on the "O" during the National Anthem, causing him to burst into laughter during a formal ceremony.
The medal count for Phelps is now 25 total: 21 gold, two silver and two bronze.
