Royal Farms Cigarette Thief Wanted: Police
Does this man look familiar? Police suspect he has been stealing Newports from Royal Farms stores in the Towson area.
TOWSON, MD – The Baltimore County Police Department is asking for help identifying a man accused of stealing from two Royal Farms stores and attempting to rob a third.
In the most recent incident, on April 27, police said that a man stole four cartons of Newport cigarettes from the Royal Farms in the 6000 block of Falls Road by reaching over the counter.
On March 15, he allegedly asked for six cartons of Newports at the Royal Farms in the 1500 block of East Joppa Road and after saying he did not have identification, police reported the man left the store; when the clerk walked away from the register, the man allegedly ran back in, went behind the counter and grabbed the cigarettes.

On March 8, police said a customer helped avoid a robbery at the Royal Farms in the 7200 block of York Road. A man had gone to the register with merchandise and asked for four cartons of Newport cigarettes, then told the clerk: "I need you to kick it out," when officials said a customer yelled at the suspect, who ran out the door and left in a silver minivan.
