Towson Bank Robbery Suspect Identified: Police

Police say they have identified the suspect in a recent bank robbery in Towson, and officials need help finding him.
Abdirahim Ahmed Mohamud, 27, of the 9900 block of Decatur Road in Middle River, is suspected in the robbery of the Wells Fargo bank in on Friday, Nov. 13, police reported.
At 10 a.m. that day, police say Mohamud allegedly went into the bank in the 900 block of Fairmount Avenue, handed a note to the teller implying he had a weapon and left with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to the report.

Baltimore County officials say they have an arrest warrant charging Mohamud with robbery and related offenses.
Mohamud is described as a black man who is 6’ tall, 180 pounds, with a mustache and beard.

Anyone with information about the robbery or Abdirahim Ahmed Mohamud is asked to contact police at 410-307-2020 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7LOCKUP.
