Towson Crime: Burglars Eye Windows
Burglars got into two homes in Towson area through unlocked windows and a pedestrian was robbed on Joppa Road, police said.

TOWSON, MD — The Baltimore County Police Department provided the following information about recent incidents in the Towson precinct.
A woman was assaulted by someone trying to steal her purse on Joppa Road. The suspect was unable to get the entire bag but did snatch her wallet. The robbery occurred while both the victim and suspect were walking in the 1600 block of East Joppa Road at 11 p.m. on Sept. 17.
A burglar broke into a home in Loch Raven Manor, stole the victim's car keys and other items, then left in the victim's car. The burglar cut the screen to a front window that was open at the residence in the 1500 block of Cottage Lane. After getting into the home, the suspect took cash, a wallet, purse, credit card, car keys and ultimately the victim's car. The burglary happened between 10:30 p.m. on Sept. 15 and 7 a.m. on Sept. 16.

Jewelry, two computers and other electronics were stolen from a home in the 500 block of Windwood Road. The burglar accessed the residence through an unlocked back window and ransacked the residence. The burglary occurred between 8:10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Sept. 15.
