Towson Sprouts Market Is Now Open

The grocery store opened its doors on Wednesday to the public in Towson.

TOWSON, MD — The newest grocery store in Towson opened Wednesday. Sprouts Farmers Market welcome customers to its location on Goucher Bouleard.

Sprouts, which is headquartered in Arizona, has nearly 300 locations across the country. The Towson store is the second Sprouts Farmers Market in Maryland; the other opened in Ellicott City in March.

The company was founded on the principles of living clean and eating healthy. In accordance with that, it has a goal of zero waste. To work toward the goal, Sprouts in Towson will give unsold groceries that are still edible to the Maryland Food Bank. Food that can't be donated will be given to local cattle farms and composting facilities.

  • Saturday, July 28 — The first 200 to check out will get a coupon booklet for five free deli items.
  • Sunday, July 29 — Every 15th customer will get a coupon for $5 off their next $15-or-more purchase.

Sprouts is at 803 Goucher Boulevard in Towson.
