Tree Falls Near Towson Home, Officials Say

Firefighters said they were called to a residence in Towson Thursday where a tree took down power lines.

TOWSON, MD — A tree fell in the backyard of a home in Towson, according to authorities. Officials said some power lines were taken down in the fall.

Crews were in the 1100 block of Valewood Road in Towson, the Providence Volunteer Fire Company reported before 2:15 p.m.

Nobody was injured, and there was no major damage to the home, according to the fire company. BGE was called to address the utility line situation, officials said.
