Vehicle Goes Down Embankment on I-695: Officials

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD – An individual was receiving medical attention after a vehicle traveled down an embankment near the junction of Interstate 83 and Interstate 695 Monday afternoon, officials said.

Technical rescue crews freed the victim from the vehicle and the person was being evaluated by paramedics, Baltimore County public safety officials reported after 3 p.m.

Three of four southbound lanes were closed on the inner loop of the Baltimore beltway in the area of I-83, and the off ramp was closed too, transportation officials reported; traffic was getting by in the left lane.
