York Road Head-On Crash: One Hospitalized, Officials Say
A two-vehicle crash in Cedarcroft Wednesday sent one person to the hospital, according to emergency personnel.
BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — One person was hospitalized as the result of a crash Wednesday afternoon on York Road, according to authorities. The victim was rescued within about 30 minutes of the call coming in to emergency personnel, the Baltimore County Fire Department reported.
Crews were called to the 6300 block of York Road around 4:15 p.m. and found one person trapped, according to fire officials.
Two vehicles crashed head-on, according to the Baltimore Firefighters Union IAFF Local 734, which was also working at the scene in Cedarcroft.

After 4:30 p.m., officials said they were working to free the individual from the wreck.
By 4:45 p.m., the Baltimore County Fire Department reported the victim was being taken to a local hospital.
