Popular restaurant reopens after fire

Salt + Stone at 463 Assembly Row in Somerville is set to reopen July 10 after a Feb. 3 kitchen fire caused significant fire, smoke and water damage.

Longtime BBQ restaurant is closing after 30 years

Tennessee’s BBQ will permanently close its Framingham location at 341 Cochituate Road after service on Sunday, July 5, the restaurant announced on its website. The restaurant did not give a reason for the closure.

A major restaurant chain closed all of its Mass. locations

Hooters has closed its last three restaurants in the state, according to reports. Locations in Dedham, Saugus, and West Springfield have all closed.

New restaurants, retail coming to this Mass. mall

The Northshore Mall in Peabody is adding three restaurant concepts and an expanded sports merchandise store this summer. Fogo de Chão, Dave's Hot Chicken, Shake Shack and Lids Locker Room are all expected to arrive in the coming weeks.

Free summer market returns to Boston

MAUM Market will take place on Sunday, July 12, at Seaport Common, at 85 Northern Ave. The event will feature more than 40 Asian-owned brands across food, fashion, home goods and wellness.

Fast-growing açaí bowl chain expands

Playa Bowls opened its new Westborough shop at 290 Turnpike Road in RK Speedway Plaza. The new eatery, known for its açaí bowls, smoothies and juices, officially debuted on Saturday.
