10 Restaurants Opening In MA This Fall

Food lovers in the Bay State have plenty to look forward to this fall.

From food chains making their debut to brand-new food concepts popping up, there are a ton of new businesses preparing to open their doors in Massachusetts before the end of the year.

Here's what's opening this fall in MA:

First Watch (Swampscott)

First Watch, the award-winning breakfast, brunch, and lunch spot, is set to open a location in Swampscott in late fall. The eatery will debut at 450 Paradise Road and will span about 3,700 square feet and feature a covered patio, more than 130 seats and a locally inspired mural, a company spokesperson told Patch.

Tsuru (Natick)

A Japanese-cuisine restaurant, Tsuru, is set to open at 45 Central St. The 100-seat restaurant offers "traditional Japanese dishes along with interactive dining experiences," according to reports.

Epilogue Books & Wine (Natick)

A short walk away, Epilogue Books & Wine will combine a small bookstore with a 25-seat bar serving wine, sandwiches, tinned fish and charcuterie, the newspaper wrote. Patch reported that the opening is expected for September.

Soup Zen Hot Pot (Burlington)

Soup Zen Hot Pot is one of several new restaurants, stores and entertainment options coming to the Burlington Mall this year. The eatery, which offers a pork-free and Halal-friendly menu, is slated for a fall opening.

Wetzel's Pretzels (Worcester)

Wetzel's Pretzels, known for its fresh-baked soft pretzels, will open at 25 Tobias Boland Way in Worcester, the current site of a Walmart Supercenter. The business told Patch that the store would open in the fall of 2026.

Nhau (Natick)

A new Vietnamese restaurant centered on shared dishes and drinks is nearing an opening in downtown Natick. Nhau, a concept from Soall Viet Kitchen owner Sa Nguyen, is expected to open at The Block at 1 South Main St. in late August or early September, the commercial development announced on Tuesday.

Town House Cafe & Bistro (Wayland)

Town House Cafe & Bistro is planned for 21 Cochituate Rd. and is now expected to open sometime this fall. The new business will transform Wayland's first town hall and library, which dates back to 1840, into a cafe and community hub.

Matsunori (Lynnfield)

The contemporary Japanese handroll concept Matsunori is headed from New York City to MarketStreet in Lynnfield this fall. It's expected to open in September adjacent to Sweetgreen and across from The North Face.

Haven Hot Chicken

Haven Hot Chicken has signed a three-unit franchise agreement with Nate and Whitney Tupper of 1779 Hot Ventures LLC to open restaurants in Springfield, West Springfield and Chicopee, with the first location expected to open in late 2026.

Wonder

A fast-growing food hall and delivery company is planning to expand into Central Massachusetts later this year. A Wonder spokesperson confirmed to Patch that the company has plans to enter Worcester and Millbury in the second half of 2026.
