Costco prepares for major expansion with new Mass. location
Costco, the massive, membership-only warehouse club plans to open 33 locations during fiscal 2027, including five relocations, according to The Hill.
At the same time, a proposed Costco warehouse in Southborough would include a roughly 167,000-square-foot warehouse and a gas station with 15 pumps, according to documents filed with the Southborough Planning Board. The location is slated for 21 Coslin Dr.
Major Mass. retail chain closes stores amid bankruptcy
Pool supply retailer Leslie's is closing stores in Massachusetts as part of a bankruptcy restructuring plan.
The company plans to close its locations in Attleboro and Brockton, according to The Street. The closures are among 76 nationwide that Leslie's is closing.
Customizable apparel brand opens new pop-up in Mass.
Brodenim opened its fifth neighborhood pop-up Saturday at The Superette, 70 Pier 4 Blvd. The shop sells sweatshirts, T-shirts, sweatpants, jackets, hats and ready-to-wear designs that customers can personalize in-store.
Popular athletic club continues expansion in Mass.
Life Time announced plans Wednesday to open a new 45,000-square-foot location at Commonwealth Pier in the Seaport District in late 2027. The club will be Life Time's eighth location in the Greater Boston market since the company first arrived in Massachusetts in 2015.
