Car Crashes Through Front Of Shrewsbury Police Department

The driver, whose identity has not yet been released, crashed into the front lobby of the police headquarters shortly after 2 p.m. on Monday. According to police, the driver was taken to the hospital with injuries, but no officers, staff or citizens were injured after the incident. The vehicle was a black 2022 BMW SUV. Shrewsbury Police Chief Kevin Anderson said the crash is believed to be intentional.

Multiple School Buses Catch Fire In Framingham

Crews responded to the scene at Keefe Regional High School at approximately 1 a.m. Tuesday morning to find one school bus on fire with the blaze extending to three other buses parked nearby. Multiple buses were heavily damaged. However, no injuries have been reported and the fire is not believed to be suspicious.

2-Alarm Blaze Tears Through Andover Home

Andover firefighters responded to the flames reported on Bellevue Road shortly after 9 a.m. on Saturday, January 17. Heavy smoke reportedly emanated from the garage and first floor of the home upon arrival. No injuries were reported as Andover received mutual aid from multiple neighboring departments.

Snowfall totaled nearly 7.5 inches in some communities this holiday weekend, marking easily the most residents have had to deal with so far this winter. The South Coast, South Shore, and North Shore headlined the blanketed regions. Later this week, frigid air is expected to hit the east coast with a preview coming on Monday night before the full front comes in between Wednesday and Thursday. The deep freeze that will bring wind chills below zero degrees is expected to last through next weekend, with a possibility of snow as well.
