Police arrived at the scene on Clinton Street Sunday night to find a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. A witness who placed the 911 call said he heard the gunfire while he was inside his car nearby, and then saw the injured victim approach his window.

5 Injured In Vehicle Crash On Cape Cod
Police and emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after 8:30 p.m. Friday in the neighborhood of Cotuit. Four people were transported to Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis, and a fifth later came there also seeking treatment. One of the two vehicles involved reportedly rolled over, damaging three of its sides before coming to rest on the driver’s side.
MA Pastry Chef Competing In 'The Ultimate Baking Championship' On Food Network
Robert Gonzalez, the owner of the French bakery Niveaux Pâtisserie in Quincy, will compete for $50,000 and the title of the Ultimate Baking Champion on the channel’s newest show. Gonzalez first opened the location in 2024 and has competed on two other Food Network shows in the past.
After Pandemic Complaints, Checks Totaling $4 Million On The Way To MA Gym-Goers
Thousands of Massachusetts residents will soon be getting refunds for gym membership fees they were unfairly charged during the COVID-19 pandemic. According to the state attorney general’s office, a total of nearly $4 million will be sent to 47,000 members of the former Boston Sports Club. The refunds stem from a lawsuit the office won last fall against the CEO of the company. Patrick Walsh charged members for gym use despite the fact that all BSC locations were temporarily closed, according to the finding in Suffolk County Superior Court.

The state’s average price of gasoline has increased by approximately $1.30 per gallon since the start of the Iran War. The average price in Massachusetts is currently at $3.67, according to AAA. The gas tax in Massachusetts is 24 cents for every gallon. The federal tax is 18 cents per gallon.

Conditions that support severe thunderstorms have reportedly become more frequent in recent decades in Massachusetts. The most significant increases are occurring between the months of April and September, when the atmosphere is already volatile. Massachusetts had 45 severe billion-dollar storms from 1980 to 2024, cumulatively causing $10 billion to $20 billion in damages.
