Patriots Legend Bill Belichick Sued Over Nantucket 'Negligence'
Belichick is being sued by a house painter who claims he was seriously injured because of dangerous job conditions at the coach’s well-known home on Nantucket Island. Andrew Jackson claims he slipped and fell while doing work at the property on 45 Fair St. in June of 2024. He suffered a “severe” injury to his right ankle and later received workers’ compensation benefits. Jackson is now suing to get compensation for medical bills and lost wages. The official defendant for the case filed in Nantucket County Superior Court is Forty Five Fair Street, a limited liability company set up by Belichick in April 2024 to own and manage real estate properties. The company bought the 2,900-square-foot house in May 2024 for $4.8 million.
