• Select Board Notes: September 14, 2026 (actonexchange.org) — Acton's Select Board approved a new sewer fee schedule and heard a preview of the FY2028 budget timeline, including December and January workshops that will shape future town spending and potential overrides. Members also discussed ongoing Level 4 water restrictions, a new "Ask Isaac" virtual assistant on the town website, bond financing for streets, radios and an equalization tank, and several development proposals, including Jersey Mike's at 252 Main Street and a bank rebuild on Massachusetts Avenue.

This Sturgeon Moon nature log highlights what residents have been seeing in South and West Acton, urges vigilance for invasive spotted lanternflies now at nearby town borders, and invites locals to join Green Acton's Biodiversity Committee and share their own sightings.
