“The continued support of Align over the last two years, and now continuing into the future, allowed me to build my professional credentials with unpaid internships at the Lowell Sun last summer and the political newspaper The Hill in the spring, finally allowing me to leverage those experiences into a paid full-time reporting internship at The Baltimore Sun this summer”, said Member Scholarship winner, Andrew Dunn. “If Align didn’t provide me the financial support to pursue those amazing experiences, I would not be sitting in one of the best newsrooms in the nation right now, reporting on a major city that I also live in. As I return to the University of Maryland in the fall for my junior year, I will continue to chase my interests wherever they lead, and can do so knowing I have had the fortunate, invaluable long-term support of Align Credit Union.”

“One of the best investments a person can make is in his or her education,” stated Align President and CEO Ken Del Rossi. “With the cost of a college education escalating each year, it’s also becoming one of the largest investments. With Align’s scholarship program, we’re able to help students achieve their goal of a college degree and help them go on to be successful in their professional lives. It’s an honor to have a small part in their success.”
