Andover High School Makes List of Top 50 Public Schools

With an average class size of 16 and enrollment of approximately 1,800, Andover High School ranked 22nd on Boston Magazine’s recently released Top 50 list of the Best Public Schools in Boston 2014.

Many factors went into the rankings, including per-pupil spending. Andover High school reportedly spends $13,836 per-pupil and boasts a 96.6 percent graduation rate. Over 90 percent of the graduates go to college.

Dover-Sherborn High School ranked #1 with an average class size of 13 and an enrollment of approximately 650. The top-ranked high school reportedly spends $16,434 per-pupil. The school has a graduation rate of 98.1 percent.

Concord-Carlisle Regional High School reportedly spends the most per-pupil with $20,525. Concord-Carlisle Regional High School is ranked 15th on the Top 50 list.
