Blizzard Cancellations, Closings and Delays For Andover

• A winter snow parking ban is in effect for Andover until further notice.
• Town offices will be closed on Tuesday.
• Trash and recycling for Tuesday will be delayed a day and will resume on Wednesday, with a one day delay for the remainder of the week, according to town officials.
• The MVRTA and MBTA will not be operating on Tuesday.
• The Andover Public Schools will be closed on Tuesday.
• Be aware of carbon monoxide poisoning and ensure proper ventilation for all heating, gas and mechanical equipment, including automobiles, according to fire officials.
• For Public Safety assistance, call 911 for emergencies, and (978) 475-0411 for non-emergency calls.
• To report National Grid outages, call (800) 465-1212.
• To report Verizon outages call (800) 837-4966.
• For natural gas emergencies call 911 or Colombia Gas at (800) 525-8222.
• Post offices will be closed on Tuesday.
• All Massachusetts courts are closed on Tuesday due to the blizzard.
• The public library will be closed on Tuesday.
