Join us for a walk along one of Andover's most beautiful streets and learn about the history and architectural styles along this historic path. This excursion samples Andover's 300 years of history; its churches, schools, homes and residents. School Street first appears on the 1830 town map, but was most certainly a heavily worn path for townspeople during the colonial period between Central and Salem streets and served as a shortcut to school. For the Phillips Academy (1778) and Theological Seminary (1808) students, it was was a direct route to church.
Please dress for weather conditions and have suitable footwear. Walk includes a slight incline at times.
