Now, more than ever, teachers are dipping into their own pockets to help pay for classroom supplies. What's more, back to school supply lists that parents are required to purchase seem endless. The sad truth is that without these helping hands, students will have to go without necessary classroom supplies due to reduced school budgets.

Stop & Shop is happy to bring back its A+ School Rewards program whereby Stop & Shop customers can identify one or two schools that are registered with A+ School Rewards who will benefit from their purchases.

Once a customer signs up and designates their chosen school(s), points will accrue with each purchase they make using their Stop & Shop card beginning October 7 and going through March 29. Since A+ School Rewards launched back in 2009, over $1.5 million has been donated to participating schools grades kindergarten through twelve. This year, Stop & Shop has made a commitment to increase its overall contribution to $2.5 million and our local Andover schools are poised to benefit.

At the end of the school year, Stop & Shop will distribute the funds to participating schools based on the points they have earned.
