PEER MEDIATOR'S FORUM FOCUSES ON UNCONSCIOUS BIAS
Students from ten local middle and high schools attended Forum sponsored by North Shore Community Mediation Center
North Shore Community Mediation Center held its 13th annual Peer Mediators’ Forum at Spinelli’s Lynnfield on April 29th. Richard Cohen, well-known in the field of conflict resolution, spoke with the students about Unconscious Bias, helping them to discuss how they see the world and how their perspective is based on their socialization and life experiences.
Those present included students from: Amesbury Middle and High School, Andover High School, Triton Regional High School, Northeast Metro Tech School, Marblehead High School, Lowell High School, Greater Lawrence Tech High School, Amesbury Innovation High School, Cambridge Rindge and Latin School.
