Joint efforts between the DCS and the Shawsheen River Watershed include the annual canoe safety and paddling demonstration and a mid summer family canoe and kayak sunset paddle.
Walking trails bordering the pond make for pleasant strolls along the water. Eagle Scouts have continued to upgrade the paths by building a bridge along a stream bed, adding hand rails on our inclines, and clearing trees and underbrush along the trails.
