Congregation Beth Israel in Andover invites the community to celebrate Shabbat on Friday, May 29, with a spirited and uplifting Shabbat Chai service at 7:00 p.m. followed by dinner. CBI’s talented musical group, Bashert, will accompany congregational singing, resulting in a meaningful, joyous, family-friendly Shabbat. The suggested donation for the dinner is $10 per person, maximum of $25 per family; there is no charge for children 12 and under or for anyone who will be attending a Shabbat Chai service for the first time. Please RSVP to Amy in the office, 978-474-0540, by Wednesday, May 27, and let her know if anyone in your party has a food allergy or dietary restrictions. Congregation Beth Israel, the only Conservative congregation in the Merrimack Valley, is located at 501 South Main Street, Route 28, near the intersection of Route 125.
