AHC Equipment Drive to Support New Hockey Players in Arlington

In an effort to help new families try hockey for the first time, we are partnering with Arlington Rec. and Sports Etc. to sponsor an equipment drive to defer some of the equipment costs to first-time registrants to the Instructional or Developmental programs. Donating is a great way to clear out some of your old equipment and have new players benefit.

If you have equipment you would like to get rid of, please bring it to Ed Burns Arena and place it in the Equipment Drive tote in the lobby (if you have difficulty finding the tote, please ask Kevin McKenzie or one of the arena employees). We will be accepting lightly used (1 – 2 years) equipment with no holes, tears, or gross deformities, including:

· Skates and helmets (all sizes and ages)

· Shin guards (sizes that will fit 4 y.o. – 9 y.o. (Pre-k to 3rdgrade))

· Hockey pants (sizes that will fit 4 y.o. – 9 y.o. (Pre-k to 3rdgrade))

· Elbow pads, gloves, and shoulder pads (sizes that will fit 4 y.o. – 9 y.o. (Pre-k to 3rdgrade))

Please no socks, or jerseys. Equipment will be distributed to new, first-time registered, players in the Instructional and Developmental programs in AHC.
