• Constance Edith Rudd, Teacher, Singer, Animal Lover and Activist, Dies at 83 (thedailycatch.org) — An Arlington-born alumna and Arlington High School salutatorian, Constance Edith Rudd went on to a wide-ranging career in the arts, education, and activism before her death in Kingston, N.Y., at 83. Her life is remembered for animal rescue, choral singing, peace demonstrations, and a celebration of life planned in Kingston on Sept. 19.
