ARLINGTON, MA — The Arlington Center Sidewalk Project, part of the ongoing effort to improve the Massachusetts Avenue Corridor, is set to begin in spring of 2020. Town consultant VHB presented a preliminary design for sidewalk improvements in the center at a meeting this week.

The project will ultimately involve reconstruction of the Broadway Plaza, which is where a Massachusetts Water Resources Authority project is set to start in 2021, according to the town.

The project will include installing concrete sidewalks, trees and planters in the area.
