Arlington Food Pantry's 1st Anniversity on Broadway; How to Register to Receive Food

The Arlington Food Pantry exists solely on donations from individuals and local businesses. There are three ways you can help local familes.

The Arlington food pantry has hit the one-year anniversary of opening the Broadway panrty site.

“ Our goal was to have a location where we could provide fresh and healthy food options to those in need and we have certainly met that goal! We could not have done it without the support of the entire community,” Arlington Food Pantry said.

Donations
The Arlington Food Pantry exists solely on the generous donations from individuals and local businesses. There are three ways you can help Arlington families:

Donations can also be made by check payable to: The Arlington Food PantryHealth and Human Services27 Maple StreetArlington, MA 02476.
Monetary donations are used to fresh produce, purchase staples and special items, such as diapers, baby food, Ensure, etc.

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are needed at both our 21 Marathon St and 117 Broadway locations. Volunteers assist with organizing and stocking of food, distribution, home delivery, etc.

The last Saturday distributions in November and December will be moved up a week because of the Holidays. The Pantry will be open on Saturday, November 21 and December 19.

How to Register to Receive Food from the Arlington Food Pantry

Services are available to Arlington residents. To sign-up and receive food please come to one of our upcoming distribution with the following:

  • Photo ID (i.e. Driver’s License, Passport, Mass ID)
  • Proof of Residency (i.e. Recent utility bill from the past two months, Apartment Lease)
  • A Completed Application, which can be found here.

Residents are able to visit the Marathon location once a month to receive a supply of non-perishable food items. Residents are able to visit the Broadway location multiple times a month for a supply of fresh and frozen food items.
