Arlington Man Stole $420K+ In Disability Benefits: Feds
Federal authorities say the owner of an insurance group falsely claimed he couldn't work due a disability.
ARLINGTON, MA — An Arlington man is accused of falsely claiming he couldn't work due to a disability in order to receive disability benefits from the Department of Veterans Affairs and the Social Security Administration.
Patrick Quinn, 47, was indicted on two counts of theft of public funds and two counts of making false statements, according to the U.S. Attorney's office.
Federal authorities say Quinn stole more than $420,000 in veterans and Social Security benefits over a period of nearly eight years while owning and operating Quinn Insurance Group, Inc.

He was released Friday on conditions following an appearance in federal court in Boston.
