Arlington Police Chief Thanks Public for Support in Light of Recent Tragedies

Arlington Police Chief Frederick Ryan penned a letter of thanks to the Arlington community for its support in light of recent tragedies.

ARLINGTON, MA — Recent tragedies such as those in Dallas and Baton Rouge have sparked support for local police departments across the country, and Arlington is no different.

Arlington Police Chief Frederick Ryan penned a letter of support to the Arlington community Tuesday thanking residents for support during a "particularly difficult and trying time for police in America."

Residents have delivered notes and drawn pictures, pizza, snacks, baked goods and more to the police department. Ryan's full message can be found below.
