Arlington Police Probe Massachusetts Ave. Bank Robbery
UPDATED: This is the second reported bank robbery within ten days in town.

ARLINGTON, MA — Arlington police are investing a bank robbery that occurred at the TD Bank Monday afternoon. Police indicated through twitter that the robbery occurred at 5:17 p.m. at the bank's 880 Massachusetts Ave. location.
“Arlington Police will diligently continue our search for this suspect,” Chief Frederick Ryan said in a statement. “I am once again amazed by the calmness and professional response of bank staff, which certainly contributed to the fact that, thankfully, no one was hurt during this evening's incident”
Police say the suspect is a white male standing six-feet-one inch tall and wearing a white hat with a dark green shirt. The suspect allegedly passed a note to a teller, later fleeing on foot down Bailey Road.

It did not appear that the suspect was armed.
This is the second reported bank robbery within the past ten days on Massachusetts Ave. A suspect broke into the Leader Bank at 449 Mass. Ave. on Oct. 21 and made off with an unspecified amount of cash.
