Arlington Pot Shop Ordered To Stop Selling Certain Products
The medical marijuana dispensary was sent a cease-and-desist order by the DPH.

ARLINGTON, MA – A medical marijuana dispensary in Arlington was ordered to stop selling certain CBD-infused products by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health last week. The state ordered Apothca, which also has a dispensary in Lynn, to stop selling CBD supplements it received from outside the state-regulated supply chain, according to the Boston Globe.
Cannabidiol, or CBD, is used to treat seizures and other medical issues. An attorney for the dispensary told the Globe the products were legally sourced and tested in Massachusetts, but sales have stopped.
The lawyer said the DPH has an "issue of inconsistent enforcement."
