Arlington Teens to Perform in CYT's Summer Musical!
Arlington teen to perform in CYT's What Happens At The End - A Devised Musical on July 30 & 31 at 7:30.
Arlington teen Sabrina Liberatore will be featured in Concord Youth Theatre’s upcoming summer show What Happens At The End – A Devised Musical. This musical is about the end of the world and explores how we feel when faced with an existential threat. What suddenly becomes important? What feels ridiculous? What do we do? Who do we value? Is it sad? Funny? Joyful? As the characters in this series of vignettes grapple with their impending doom, they are forced to confront difficult questions and, in the process, realize who they are and how they want to spend the little time they have left. There is no one way people handle a situation like this; the varied reactions you see reflect exactly that—human difference.
Originally conceived by students at Lincoln-Sudbury High School (LSHS) and performed virtually by the LSHS Players, the show’s music and lyrics were written by LSHS alumni Kenter Davies and Caleb Martin-Rosenthal. CYT’s production is directed by Davies with Tyler Arle as musical director.
Performances run July 30 & 31 at 7:30. All shows are at Concord Youth Theatre’s air conditioned theatre at 53 Church Street in West Concord. Tickets are $15 each and may be purchased online at https://www.ticketstage.com/T/CYT. Recommended for ages 10 and up.
