Capoeira for both kids and adults will soon be offered in Porter Square

Sinha Capoeira has enjoyed a strong tradition in Massachusetts for almost 8 years. In that time Sinha has grown, shared Capoeira with our community and trained some amazing people. We have tried different locations, explored and built good foundation in Brookline and surrounding areas. But as a result of this growth, Sinha has been on a mission to acquire more practice space within the community and to finally call a place “OUR OWN”. For more than a year the hunt for space has been on, and we have nearly exhausted all of the options. Which is why we couldn’t be happier to announce the acquisition of Sinha’s new academy in Cambridge!

Located right in the Porter Square and very close to Arlington, MA, the new 3,500 sq. foot space is the ideal setting for Sinha Capoeira Cambridge students to rehearse and train. We are also happy to say that this space is divided into two academies and our neighbors are amazing people of New England Aikikai. Only lounge and dressing areas are shared with our friendly neighbors. Wait till you see how great the space is! Aside from having an awesome floor mat to ourselves, Sinha Capoeira students are probably even more excited by the lounge area with TV, showers in separate male and female dressing areas, high ceilings and lots of natural light. In this space we finally have somewhere we can call home!!

Sinha Capoeira still makes almost daily use of our other locations and we will not discontinue classes anywhere else at this time.

We are thrilled about our new addition in Cambridge. It is fantastic for us and we are really excited. We are considering doing a grand-opening and perhaps an open house, but for now we’re just enjoying settling in!
