East Arlington Man Charged with Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon
The man allegedly threw items around an East Arlington pizza house.

A 47-year-old Fremont Court man was arrested Monday night after he allegedly threw items around an East Arlington pizza house, including a metal napkin holder at an employee.
The man also broke a window at another Mass. Ave. business, police said.

The suspect, Ivan E. Nevado, was arrested at about 8 p.m. and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and malicious destruction of property over $250, according to police. Nevado also had a warrant out of East Boston for unsafe/negligent operation of a motor vehicle, police said.
Police located Nevado shortly after the incident flailing his arms and stumbling in the middle of Mass. Ave. Witnesses identified him as the suspect, police said.

Nevado allegedly swore at the pizza house’s employees before throwing stuff around after he was asked to leave.
