Feast of the East Brings Fun, Food (and Ponies) to East Arlington

A perfect day brought hundreds to the annual festival in East Arlington

The sun was shining and the temperatures soared into the upper 80's for yesterday's annual Feast of the East Festival in East Arlington.

The festival, which ran from 1 to 5 p.m. is now in its 12th year and is an annual celebration of all of East Arlington and many of the restaurants. Sabatino's, Za Restaurant, Kathmandu Spice joined in the fun by offering free food and entertainment, while stores like Artbeat provided fun activities for the under 10 set.

For children, there were pony rides, bounce houses, music, cotton candy slushies, face painting, balloon animals and more.
