Fidelity House Gears Up for Summer Programs

The calendar has turned to June, and Fidelity House is preparing for one of the busiest times of the year. Summer programs have been a staple at Fidelity House for 63 years, and this year is no different. From summer camps for all ages, to basketball clinics and golf tournaments, Fidelity House has something for everyone!

Preschool Summer Program

Fidelity House will be offering a Preschool Summer Program for boys and girls ages 2.9-5 years old. The program runs from June 11-August 31, and offers 12 one-week sessions with both a Half-Day option (8:30am-12:30pm) and Full-Day option (8:30am-4:30pm). Activities include arts & crafts, music, games, nature activities, and sprinklers for those particularly hot summer days! Kindergarten and 1st Grade Day Camp

For children entering/just completing Kindergarten, K-1 Day Camp takes all of the fun of the Preschool Summer Program and ramps it up a notch! Fidelity House will be offering 10, one-week sessions starting the week of June 25. K-1 Day Camp runs from 8:00am-4:30pm, with Extended Care available until 5:30pm for an additional fee. Activities will be split between Fidelity House, Fidelity House Site 2, and Minuteman Technical High School in Lexington, where campers will take part in Red Cross-Certified swimming lessons. Fidelity House Day Camp (Grades 2-6)

For the 63rd summer, Fidelity House will be offering Day Camp for children entering grades 2-6. Starting the week of June 25, Fidelity House will offer eight, one-week sessions from 8:00am-4:30pm, with Extended Care options until 5:30pm or 6:30pm for an additional fee. Unlike the Preschool and K-1 programs mentioned above, Day Camp will take place primarily at Minuteman High School in Lexington. Summer Days Program (Grades 7, 8, 9)

Don't let your teen be a couch potato! For eight, one-week sessions starting the week of June 25, Fidelity House will offer a summer program geared toward the interests of some of our older members. Minuteman High School in Lexington will still be utilized for swimming lessons and outdoor activities, but field trips around the Boston area will also be included. *All summer program are available online at FidelityHouse.org. All registrations, even those done online, MUST be accompanied by a completed registration form returned to Fidelity House.*

June Full Days Program

Fidelity House will be offering a June Full Days Program weekdays from Thursday, June 14, until Friday, June 22, for those students that get out earlier than the public schools. These programs are offered for children in grades K-6 and will include field trips as well as sports, arts & crafts, and games at Fidelity House. Field trips include Stone Zoo, Butterfly World in Westford, and the Spy Pond Playground. June Full Days begin at 8:00am and end at 6:00pm, with Extended Care options until 6:30pm for an additional fee. All field trips return to Fidelity House by 2:00pm. "Play More Hoop" Clinics

On top of the traditional summer camp programs, Fidelity House offers programs for people of all interests. For those children looking to improve their basketball skills, the "Play More Hoop" Clinics are the place to be! The 2nd-5th Grade "Play More Hoop" Clinic will be held July 23-27, from 9:00am-12:00pm. The 6th-11th Grade "Play More Hoop" Clinic will be held July 30-August 2, from 9:30am-3:30pm. Both programs will focus on improving skills, while also having fun! Participants will take part in dribbling/shooting drills, daily contests, and scrimmages! Fidelity House Golf Tournament

The Fidelity House Open in Memory of Vin Culhane will be held on Monday, July 16 at Juniper Hill Golf Course in Northborough, MA. You can register as a foursome ($500) or as an individual ($125), or just enjoy the luncheon ($25). Fees will include greens fee, golf cart, refreshments, dinner, Closest to the Pin holes and raffle prizes.
