Fidelity House Prepares for a Full Schedule of Spring Activities

Spring has officially sprung, and with that comes a number of great events at Fidelity House in Arlington. Chief among them are the Mother's Day Flower Sale and the Children's Fun Fair, both annual events that embrace the spring season. If you are not familiar with Fidelity House, these two events, as well as their upcoming summer programs, are a great introduction to what this Arlington institution is all about.

Mother's Day Flower Sale

Fidelity House's annual Mother's Day Flower Sale will take place from Thursday, May 10, through Sunday, May 13, in both the Fidelity House Gym and outdoor stations. The sale will include such favorites as geraniums, impatiens, and mums, and will feature hanging plants, potted plants, table arrangements, and fresh cut floral bouquets for reasonable prices. The Flower Sale is an important fundraiser for Fidelity House, with all the proceeds going to bettering their youth programs. There is no better way to show your mom that you love her while also supporting a great local establishment like Fidelity House. The hours of the sale are still to be determined, but should be released by the week of the sale.

Children's Fun Fair

Fidelity House will hold it's 7th Annual Children's Fun Fair on Saturday, May 19, from 10:00am-1:00pm at Fidelity House Site 2. Activities will include a moon bounce, cookout, popcorn, face painting, children's games, and more! Activities and games will be geared towards children ages 3-10 years old, and tickets will be sold for all activities. In case of inclement weather, the Fun Fair will be moved into the Fidelity House Gym.
