Former Swim Coach Sentenced For Child Rape
The incidents took place in the late '70s and 1980 at the Arlington Boys and Girls Club.

A former Arlington swim coach pled guilty to charges of child rape, three counts of indecent assault and battery on a child less than 14 years old, and open and gross lewdness yesterday.
Paul Collins, 64, committed these alleged crimes while working as the aquatic director - responsible for overseeing lifeguards, “free swim” time, and coaching the swim team - at the Arlington Boys and Girls Club during the late ‘70s and 1980. He had since moved to Centereach, New York, where he was arrested for these charges in 2013, according to a statement from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
A judge has sentenced Collins to eight to 10 years in prison, followed by 10 years probation.
