Governor Baker Issues Snow Emergency

Gov. Charlie Baker announced a statewide snow emergency during a press conference on Sunday, but said he is not issuing a statewide travel ban.

He asked that non-emergency state employees stay home and people stay off the roads on Sunday night and Monday if possible. He also asked that businesses not open or let employees work from home on Monday.

Baker also announced:

• The MBTA will have a limited schedule on Monday.
• Logan Airport will have limited flights on Monday.
