Mass. Ave. Closures for Sen. Donnelly's Wake

The wake of Sean. Kenneth Donnelly at Arlington Town Hall will partially close Mass. Ave. and Academy Street Friday.

The eastbound lane of Mass. Ave. will be closed from Jason Street/Mill Street to the Robbins Library from 1-8 p.m. Academy Street from Mass. Ave. to Maple Street will be closed to traffic.

There will be no parking in these areas during this time. Parking meters townwide will not be in effect and parking will be free in the Russell Common and Railroad Street municipal lots.

The public visiting hours for Donnelly are between 4-8 p.m.

Donnelly, an Arlington Democrat, died Sunday after a long battle with a brain tumor. His funeral is Saturday in Winchester.
